The festival brings together great folk artists and songwriters from Setomaa, Estonia, Finland, Russia and several smaller Finno-Ugric nations. Seto Folk´s theme for 2015 – „Tongues out! " – is inspired by nearby village Obinitsa´s status as the Finno-Ugric Capital of Culture 2015 and invites small nations from all over  Europe to be proud of their cultural heritage and mother tongue and to carry it with pride.
In addition to the strong musical line-up and beautiful natural surroundings, Seto Folk is also a festival where you can meet local craftsmen, eat authentic Seto food, have a taste of local home-brewed beer and experience the famous Seto hospitality. Festival visitors are also invited and encouraged to take part in the numerous workshops available
