Presidium meeting in Valka

Presidium meeting of Euregio "Pskov – Livonia" was held on 22th of February in Valka, Latvia. The members of this meeting were – Madis Gross (Board memeber) and Ain Jõesalu (Executive director) from Estonian section, Karlis Albergs (Board member) and Juris Annuškans (Executive director) from Latvian section, Vladimir Shurajev (President of Pskov section, Head of Pskov rayon administration) from Pskov section (Russia).

During Presidium meeting questions about visas and a joint project was discussed.

Representatives from all sections of Euregio decided that next Presidium meeting will be held on 29th of April in Estonia, but the third meeting – on 21th of October in Pskov. The Meeting of the local government members could be held in the beginning of August and it could take place in Estonia or Latvia, with the possibility to visit some of the Finnish local municipalities.

V. Shurajev announced that Executive director of Pskov section will be nominated in 2-3 weeks. Currently some changes to the Statue of Euregio Pskov section are done.
