Song and dance festival in Ape

Festival „Dzied' vien' dziesmiņ'" („Sing one song"), which is a part of activities in cross border project „Supporting the Song and Dance Festival Tradition in Estonian – Latvian Border areas", will take place in Ape on 26th of June.

This event is planned as theatralized performance where participants express their love to song, dance and place where they live.

Choirs „Ape", „Trejkola", „Vidzemīte", „Sonus", „Atzele", „Kaprīze", dance collectives „Metenis", „Miķelis" un „Poga" from Latvia and their guest collectives from Setomaa in Estonia will participate in the festival.

Within the framework of the project there has been organized dance camp for participants of festival where they learned Latvian and Estonian folk dances as well as discussed the agenda of festival.
